Bollywood’s legendary actor, Shammi Kapoor is dead. The actor passed away at the Breach Candy Hospital at 5 a.m. He had been suffering from chronic renal failure. Shammi Kappor was one of the most versatile actors of Hindi cinema and will be fondly remembered for his brilliant work in movies like ‘An Evening in Paris’, ‘Junglee’, ‘Teesri Manzil’ and many more.
Many Bollywood stars and filmmakers have expressed their profound grief on the demise of the veteran actor. Amitabh Bachchan was one of the first among all the Bollywood celebs to tweet about Shammi Kapoor’s death. He tweeted, “Shammi Kapoor ji passed away this morning at 5:15 am .. Rushing there now .. the flamboyance and joi de verve of the Industry lost !"
